1. Flying to Côn Đảo
Currently, there are no direct flights from Hà Nội to Côn Đảo, but you can fly from Hà Nội to Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh or directly to Cần Thơ Airport.
From there, you can book a flight to Côn Đảo via Thành Phố Hồ Chí Minh – Côn Đảo or Cần Thơ – Côn Đảo.
Only one airline, VASCO, a subsidiary of Vietnam Airlines, is allowed to operate flights to Côn Đảo.
On peak days, over 20 flights to Côn Đảo are available.
Ticket prices range from 1,850,000 VND to 2,300,000 VND per one-way ticket.
2. Flying to Côn Đảo by Helicopter
Schedule: Helicopter flights are available every Friday and Sunday at Vũng Tàu Airport.
Vũng Tàu – Côn Đảo: 13:30 – 14:20
Côn Đảo – Vũng Tàu: 15:30 – 16:20
Ticket price is approximately 2,650,000 VND per one-way trip.
Flight time is around 50 – 60 minutes.
3. Traveling to Côn Đảo by Sea (Côn Đảo EXPRESS Speedboat)
The Côn Đảo Express boat has a capacity of 598 passengers (30 VIP seats and 568 ECO seats).
- Vũng Tàu – Côn Đảo route: Travel time is approximately 4+ hours each way.
- Cần Thơ – Côn Đảo route: Travel time is approximately 4.5 hours each way. (This route is temporarily suspended)
- Trần Đề – Côn Đảo route: Travel time is approximately 2.5 hours each way.
For sea transport, it’s advisable to purchase round-trip tickets to avoid the risk of not having a return ticket.
If you plan to send a motorbike on the boat, make sure to arrive at the port 2 hours before departure.
It’s also important to note that ferry services may be canceled due to weather conditions, so it’s wise to leave some buffer time for your trip.
