• The historical sites in Côn Đảo are some of the largest, most significant, and ancient national monuments. During 113 years of French and American colonial rule (1862 – 1975), hundreds of thousands of revolutionary soldiers and patriots were imprisoned and tortured. Côn Đảo is considered the “Hell on Earth” in the past.
• Today, Côn Đảo is seen as a sacred land of Vietnam, famous for its towering granite cliffs beside shimmering crystal-clear beaches, and golden sandy shores stretching along pristine bays. Far from the mainland, this untouched island is blessed by Mother Nature with sceneries unlike any other place.
