Lò Voi Mountain, also known as Sở Lò Voi, is known as the place where prisoners were responsible for two tasks: collecting coral from the sea and burning it into powder. The name “Lò Voi Mountain” comes from the shape of the mountain, which looks like a lying elephant from a distance.
