Highlights

Côn Đảo is a place gifted with invaluable treasures that can’t be found anywhere else. In addition to its rich Mediterranean-like ecosystem, with mangrove forests, fish species, corals, and shells, another “masterpiece of nature” that cannot be overlooked is the Bird Sanctuary on the Sea at Hòn Trứng. The breeding season of seabirds begins in May and peaks in early June. At Hòn Trứng, visitors may also encounter the rare Grey-headed Tern and White-bellied Tern, species that are listed in the Red Data Book of the world and Vietnam.

Itinerary

  • Pickup and guide meet customers at the designated point, then transfer to the port and board the Cano (wearing life jackets and getting settled).
  • The Cano takes customers to admire the beautiful landscapes of various islands, with panoramic views of the town from a distance, and after 45 minutes, arrives at Hòn Trứng.
  • At Hòn Trứng, visitors will witness thousands of seabirds flying and resting on steep cliffs.
  • After leaving the Bird Sanctuary, the Cano (Speedboat) heads to Bamboo Lagoon or Hòn Cau:
  • If going to Bamboo Lagoon: Climb Yên Ngựa Mountain for a panoramic view of the lagoon and mangrove forest, swim and snorkel.
  • If going to Hòn Cau: Sunbathe on the white sand beach, visit, take photos, and snorkel.
  • The Cano returns to the port, and the guide and vehicle will transfer guests back to the original pickup point.
